Leadership Team

NEIL MILLAR, MSc

Managing Director

With over 25 years and 100 projects in seismic, drilling and management roles and a decade as Geophysical Operations Manager for Australia’s largest integrated energy company, Neil has a detailed understanding of the Australasian and international geophysical/geotechnical survey sector.

He created Total Seismic in 2016 to provide dependable, high-quality geophysics and project delivery to all sectors.

Neil has degrees from Edinburgh University, UNSW, Aberdeen University and Deakin University and lives with his family on the Gold Coast.

BRUCE MANIERI

Operations Manager

Bruce has more than 45 years’ experience in all facets of land geophysical data acquisition.

He worked for a major seismic contractor for 20+ years and as a self-employed consultant managed land and transition zone seismic operations for major Operator companies in most environments in Australasia, Africa, Middle East, Asia and the Americas.

Bruce is a certified surveyor with extensive geophysics and HSSE training during his career.

DAVID DORLING

Business Development Manager

David drives strategic direction at Total Seismic, combining over 20 years’ expertise in seismic exploration with a strong background in project delivery, stakeholder engagement and commercial strategy. He plays a key role in expanding our market presence and delivering great business solutions for our clients.

SZILARD ALBERT, MSc

Chief Geophysicist

Sid specialises in data processing geophysics and seismic data quality control and brings to the team extensive international experience, including over 16 years work in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Sid leads Total Seismic’s data processing division and is involved in many of our technology innovations. Sid has degrees from the University of Bucharest and Queensland University of Technology, including an MSc in Applied Geophysics.

LARISSA HANSEN, PhD

Chief Geoscientist

Larissa has degrees from the University of Queensland (BSc) and University of Aberdeen (PhD in Sedimentology) as well as extensive industry experience. Over 15 years Larissa has provided expert multidisciplinary geological and geophysical work for several major companies in Europe and Australia. Her extensive research experience is key to providing thorough scientific analysis and integration of diverse geoscience data.

Titan is Total Seismic’s leading software-hardware apparatus. Our custom-built workstations have been developed specifically for intensive seismic survey design, data processing and data interpretation workloads. By selecting and integrating the latest high-performance hardware such as multi-core processors, high speed high capacity RAM, lightning-fast storage solutions and cutting-edge GPUs, we've constructed a powerful and efficient computational environment for our Geoscientists to tackle their most demanding tasks with ease.

Titan has a continually evolving suite of technical software to ensure technical best practice. Titan currently includes:

GlobleClaritas data processing software (full 2D/3D seismic data processing and field QC);

Seismic Focal Point micro/passive seismic software;
